OLIVER "On Consignment"

Oliver is a 16.2 hand Friesian x Appendix Quarter Horse registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse Association.

He is coming 6 year old gelding. He was trained by an Amish man to drive as a 3 year old and was driven extensively that summer.

Since then he has been backed and trained from a dressage basis and longlined extensively. He has wonderful feet and a naturally good stride and is beginning to engage behind. He also has a nice elevated trot and is very rhythmic and balanced.

Oliver is a very forward and energetic horse who would excel at combined driving, eventing or dressage.

He is also a great trail horse. He needs to continue his training and is ready to go in whatever direction you may want to take him. He is barefoot now and has wonderful feet.

Oliver has a typical Friesian personality and bonds strongly with the person working with him but is friendly and loving towards everyone. He has excellent ground manners but is smart and mischievious and needs a strong person to remind him occasionally. He stands for harnessing, bathing, clipping and trailers well.

RIKKIE - Ludse (Naen) x Reino (Falke)
1997 3rd premie 16.2H mare.

Rides – dressage, huntseat and
tandem riding. Drives – single & pair and longlines: She has
been used as a lesson horse in all of the above disciplines.
She is excellent on the trails. She has experience as a drill
team horse and show horse; however, she does not enjoy the
competitive environment. She is superb in environments
such as driving at Acadia National Park and other
farm/barn clinic situations. She is used as a demo horse at
various locations teaching clinics with her trainer and is
marvelous.
 

Ridden and driven by both professionals and amateurs.
Proven broodmare who is a fabulous mother with a 1.95
coefficient.
 

Rikkie would make an excellent pleasure horse for someone
who likes to trail ride/drive; participate in clinics and other
individual activities with her.

Sophia of Starlit Ridge

Sophia is full-papered Stam Line 135 mare by Teade 392, out of three-time first premie Ster mare, Titia M. Sophia's sister, Godiva received a 1st-premie Grand Champion at the Woodstock, CT, keur in 2005!

Sophia is developing into a gorgeous mare. She has very nice confirmation and a long, flowing mane. She has "the look". She has inherited her sire's majestic build and flowing trot and her mother's beautiful, refined head  and neck.
 

The beautiful Sophia will be spending her summer continuing her training with the Cabot's in Dover-Foxcroft. 

Wobke "Under Contract"

Wobke was born on April 25, 2007, by Sytse 385 of Iron Spring Farm out of a Ster mare, Tynke fan Lutke Peinjum.  This fabulous gelding shows great potential as a dressage, driving, or pleasure horse. 

Wobke is currently in  training and preparing for the Keur in October.
